One Library System (OLIS) is made to manage and keep track of students’ lending and returning activity in a library. This will prevent any book loss in the future. Through OLIS, we are hoping to encourage more students to lend and return books on time, as well as to plant a reading habit amongst themselves. It is linked with Microsoft Access, which is an offline database, that is used to store all the information of the books available in the school library, as well as records of students’ lending and returning activities. It is very simple to use, and can be operated by any users including students and teachers. Ultimately, we are looking forward to further improve the library system in the school, as well to provide a better platform to encourage students to read more.
